Building Forward: Why We’re Betting on an End-to-End Circular Design & Build Ecosystem
It’s time to stop reinventing the wheel.
It’s time to build with what we already have.
As the construction industry faces growing pressure to decarbonize, rethink materials, and reduce waste, we believe that the real innovation lies not in inventing new things — but in connecting existing resources and actors into a powerful, aligned ecosystem.
That’s why we’re committing to developing an end-to-end design & build ecosystem that puts circular materials and reused components at the center of every step.
From Extraction to Revalorization
The traditional construction model is linear: extract, build, discard.
Our vision flips that logic on its head.
We’re working hand-in-hand with an extraordinary network of Belgian partners — from material recovery experts to modular builders, digital traceability platforms, circular product designers, and energy efficiency innovators. Together, we aim to create replicable, low-carbon modules that serve as housing units or community hubs, built entirely from reused, local, and biosourced materials.
This is not a side project or a “green pilot.”
It’s a new way of thinking about the built environment.
Why an End-to-End Ecosystem?
Because piecemeal solutions aren’t enough. Because circularity doesn’t happen in isolation.
Because building sustainably must be as seamless and scalable as conventional construction.
By aligning the full value chain — from material sourcing and prefabrication to energy integration and digital passports for each component — we can:
Reduce the environmental footprint dramatically
Shorten lead times through offsite fabrication
Empower local reuse sectors
Create beautiful, functional, modular buildings with a soul
Meet the Ecosystem
This vision is only possible thanks to a growing alliance of actors. Some of our key partners include:
Rotor DC, Coliseum, BC Materials, Composil, Gramitherm – pioneers in reuse and natural materials
Madaster, Buildwise – traceability and material passport technology
Shayp, HelioTech, Alternatif – sustainable water and energy systems
Regglo, Relieve, Duplex – flexible circular interior solutions
Roosens – Organic concrete foundations
Greendays by Vesta – green solutions for flat rooftops
Tapio, D-Carbonize – carbon accounting monitoring software
…
Together, we aim to build modules that are not only circular — but desirable, scalable, and community-rooted.
By activating these modular spaces that generate social & eco-responsible impacts to urban districts in mutation, it is for this specific reason why CO-HO with Hubloom exists.
What’s Next?
We're starting with a fully functional prototype that will showcase this ecosystem in action:
A modular hub built entirely from recovered materials, optimized for performance and replicability.
This is more than a construction experiment — it’s a testbed for a new economic and ecological model.
If you're an investor, public authority, urban planner, or like-minded builder:
We want to talk. Because we believe the future of construction will be collaborative, circular, and local.
Let’s stop starting from scratch.
Let’s build smarter, together.
